ZaoYuan(Jujube garden) revolutionary memorial site

                      The zao yuan sacred site is located in Yan' an City. It is about 800 miles away from Xi'an. Yan'an is situated in the northern part of Shaanxi Province and is famous due to its significance in Chinese modern history.Yan'an was honored as a "City of Revolutionary museum" and a sacred place appealing to most Chinese people. The late Chairman Mao Zedong and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was stationed in Yan'an for 13 years after they finished the world famous Long March since October 1937. Zaoyuan was the place where Mao Zedong stayed between 1943 and 1946. Mao's house is consists of five stone cave dwellings of his office, living room, bedroom and two for his assistants
